This week Google launched a new feature to its website that lets searchers customize their Google search by re-ranking, deleting, adding, and commenting on search results.
Google says the new feature, SearchWiki is an example of how search is becoming increasingly dynamic and results more personalized.

Samsung said this week it has begun mass producing 256 gigabyte (GB) solid state drives for use in notebooks and desktop PCs.
Although much more expensive than conventional hard drives, solid state drives (SSD) are expected to become commonplace in coming years because these flash memory drives use less power than traditional drives while offering greater reliability and performance.

Archos, the Denver based company which introduced the first portable video player in 2003, announced this week the Archos 7 Internet Media Tablet (IMT) is now shipping.
The player feature an ARM Cortex processor that Archos says is four times faster than the CPU in its previously released devices, an 800 x 480 touch screen, up to 320 GB of storage, multimedia playback and an Opera web browser with Flash 9 capabilities.

Late yesterday and early this morning, Apple released firmware updates
for its popular Apple TV, iPhone, and iPod Touch products.
The latest firmware for the iPhone contains dozens of fixes and
improvements while Apple TV and iPod touch enhancements were more
modest. Readers wishing to upgrade their units are advised to set aside
some time. The download for the iPhone and iPhone 2.2 firmware updates
is over 285 megabytes.

Bell Mobility, Canada's second largest wireless phone service provider,
today announced a trio of wireless plans aimed at grabbing a bigger
share of the Smartphone market.
The new Smartphone 45, 70 and 100 plans are only in effect until
December 31st and require Smartphone users to sign a contract for 36
months.
